Who we are

The AI Ship is a sole proprietorship incorporated in Bangalore, India, and operating out of Mumbai. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways. When you book a call through our Calendly scheduling link, we receive your name, email address, and anything you write in response to our scheduling questions. When you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to send us, including your email address, name, and the contents of your message. We don't run a contact form, newsletter signup, or any other data collection on this site beyond these two channels.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for calls, and follow up on a potential engagement. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, and we don't add you to a mailing list without your explicit agreement.

Third-party services

We use Calendly to handle scheduling. When you book a call, Calendly processes your information under its own privacy policy, available at calendly.com/privacy. We don't control how Calendly stores or processes that data beyond what's needed to schedule the call. Our site is hosted on infrastructure that may log standard technical information, like IP address and browser type, as part of normal web server operation. We don't use this information to track you individually or for advertising.

Cookies

We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. The Calendly widget may set its own cookies when you use it; these are governed by Calendly's policy, not ours.

Data retention

We keep the information you share with us for as long as it's relevant to a potential or ongoing engagement, or as required by law, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to raise a grievance about how it's handled. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@theaiship.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business or applicable law changes. The version on this page is always the current one.
